Meet our Friendly, Experienced Team!
Ramiza, Financial & Treatment Coordinator
Ramiza moved to Colorado from Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2007, and has since been passionate about dentistry. What makes her so passionate about this crazy world of dentistry is to see the impact and transformation a smile can make on one’s life. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable and educating them about their treatment and financial options.
When she’s not spending her time with her team at Southland Smiles she enjoys spending time with her husband and their puppy Charlie. She also loves traveling and hiking in our beautiful Colorado mountains.
Jarra, Dental Assistant
Jarra has been working in dentistry for two years and counting. She attended the Colorado School of Dental Assisting, has her CPR certification, and is training as an EDDA on the job. She loves that she’s able to learn something new every day through her work!
Originally from Denver, Jarra is a mom with a five year old son. Outside of the office, she greatly enjoys photography and visiting museums and parks with her child. She is also ambidextrous!
Sharon, Dental Hygienist
Sharon was born and raised in the Philippines. Today, she’s been a part of the dental world for 18 years now, having spent the last five years as a member of our staff. She attended Colorado Northwestern Community College and is also certified in laser dentistry, anesthesia, and nitrous oxide. She enjoys getting to educate patients about their oral health and working for such a great dentist as well.
Sharon is married and has been blessed with a wonderful daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time with family, traveling, hiking, and camping. She does what she loves to do and she does it obsessively!
Ally, Dental Hygienist
Ally is originally from Apple Valley, MN, and she’s been working in the dental field for five years and counting. She received her education from Argosy University. What she enjoys most about her work is getting to meet new people!
Outside of the office, Ally’s interests include playing with her three cats, walking, painting (both watercolor and acrylic), reading, and scrapbooking.
Elizabeth, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
Elizabeth is a relatively new addition to our dental team, with 20 overall years in the field. She received her education from Emily Griffith Technical College and is also trained in occlusion, E4D, CEREC, OSHA, CPR, and CS 3600 Imaging. She is a current member of the ADA. Her favorite part of her job is knowing that she’s making a big difference in people’s lives! Showing them empathy, making them laugh, and being able to change the way they feel about dentistry means the world to her. She also enjoys working alongside doctors who believe in treating patients with respect and care.
Originally from Denver, Elizabeth is married and has one son. When she isn’t busy at the office, she enjoys being outdoors, building memories with her family, keeping up with fitness, exploring beautiful Colorado, going on hikes and road trips, and setting up volleyball games at the local park!
